Meet Claire
My passion for beautiful country home interiors is deeply rooted in the countryside that raised me. Growing up on a working farm in the heart of Somerset gave me an instinctive appreciation for nature, the rhythm of the seasons, and the quiet beauty of handmade craft - values that continue to shape my work today.
At heart, I am a maker. I have always enjoyed repairing, creating, and thoughtfully elevating spaces with unique and beautiful pieces. What began as a love of DIY and home renovation has grown into more than three decades of experience designing and furnishing homes, ranging from new-build properties to houses that have provided warmth and shelter for generations.
I trained in Advanced Soft Furnishings and Interior Design with the National Design Academy and now specialise in handmade curtains, blinds, and bespoke interior designs with a country style. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in my studio using natural fibres and responsibly sourced materials, with a strong commitment to British suppliers and mindful sustainability.
Above all, I believe it is not just how you fill a house, but who shares the space that truly makes it a beautiful home. A home should feel deeply personal. Calm, timeless, and full of character. A space that tells a story, reflects the people who live there, and offers a true sense of sanctuary at the end of a long day.
